春雨逍遙

in idleness

sunburned

I'm getting a tan now. I used to be extra careful in mid-summer, but the cool mornings and evenings catch me off guard. It's not so easy to walk gracefully with a parasol when I'm paying attention to my puppy's whims while walking.

I'm going to send my dog to train for 6 months. Of course, we know that owners should train with their dogs daily, but it seems to us that the way to discipline large dogs is generally left to the professionals. (The two dogs we have had have been sent to the same training centre.) What dogs will learn from this is absolute obedience to the trainer, and of course, good manners. Owners without taking the initiative themselves just seem to be underestimated by dogs. So we try to get involved as much as we can.

I hear that in other countries, manners classes for dogs and their owners are part of the daily routine as part of their welfare. I wish this were the case in Japan. At the moment, we have to pay a lot of money to get a professional.

How do dogs learn to behave in your country? Let me know🐾
