another summer event

After the Olympics, we have another summer event. 'National High School Baseball Championship,' commonly known as 'Summer Koshien' is an annual baseball tournament and is one of the largest amateur sport events in Japan.

The opening day was postponed from 8th to 9th August due to Typhoon No.9. And it was put off for a few days again with heavy rain. It was called off last year because of the Corona by the way.

I look forward to watching Koshien every year. It might sound strange, I don't care who wins. I love to watch people working hard and being united for themselves and for what they owe to their own native prefecture. (Every prefecture sends high school baseball players to Koshien.)
