go for a dip

The days are still over 30 degrees. Today I took my dog to a nearby lake for a dip. There were still many people who came to bathe in the lake. Parents and children were playing in the wide shallow water, but dogs are not allowed in. ​I know every inch of the lake so I took him to a place where people seldom come. Before going into the water, he dug in the earth or lay down on the grass, and then dived into the water. He got so dirty that I had to give him a bath when I got home. Now he is so tired that has forgotten to ask for food and is sleeping. I'm tired too😵!
