shadow puppet artists
I like the film "Les contes de la nuit" (2011) by Michel Ocelot, France. Five of the ten episodes of the 2010 TV short film series "Dragon & Princess" (French version), plus one new episode, were combined into one film. I suppose that there are many beautiful things in the world that still I do not know, which I'm glad.

In Japan, the name of Seiji Fujishiro (藤城清治) comes to mind when talking about shadow puppet artists. He has been a friend of the Imperial Family for many years, and has even presented shadow puppets to Her Majesty the Emperor Emerita Michiko(美智子上皇后陛下.)
Even now, after more than 80 years of painting, he continues to be at the forefront of creation, holding exhibitions every year.
