a dog named King

Rex, my late loving dog, his name was taken after 'Inspector Rex' (Austrian title: Kommissar Rex,) which was an Austrian police procedural comedy-drama television series. My family loved the drama and when we adopted a puppy (later Rex,) soon we realized that's the name should be! We didn't know Rex meant King in Latin, would have known!

He was a show-type dog, which we'd never had, behaved gracefully and too proudly. I heard cats had kind of narcissism, he also seemed to be a narcissist. It was my great surprise as if the dog believed himself beautiful. Or he thought nothing. People often find meaning anywhere. ​I loved the way he was, which was definitely the truth.

Robin's pedigree name is Rex. What a coincidence! It was the main reason why the puppy were taken into my family, Japanese called this kind of situation '縁(en) ' meaning was like...'The Right Person Will Come At The Right Time,' or... 'We Are Destined to Be Together,' I supposed.
