ephemera

I have learned the word 'ephemera' from a Postcrossing bio. A dictionary says the original meaning of the word is epi = on, hemera = day, I am impressed by the fragile sound of the word itself.

'Ephemera are any transitory written or printed matters that are not meant to be retained or preserved like letters, postcards, etc.'

'Letters, postcards'!!!

There's no reason not to like this word anywhere!
